Kwahu MDCES Poised for developmental goals in 2018

Information available to Agoo news indicates that, Kwahu East Assembly will soon acquire a new two story assembly block to help enhance their day to day activities.

Some Kwahu District Chief Executives have outlined some major infrastructural development to be established in the year 2018.

Kwahu has five (5) MDCEs which comprise Kwahu West Municipal Assembly, Kwahu South District Assembly, Kwahu East District Assembly, Afram Plains South District Assembly and Afram Plains North District Assembly.

Three DCEs that Agoo news’ Ebenezer Kojo Nyavor (K-Lover) contacted expressed their commitment to deliver without sleeping on the job.

The DCE for Kwahu Afram Plains South Hon George Ofori said the district will first tackle poor roads network. On the issue of Fulani menace in the area, he revealed the assembly and the Fulani herdsmen and the indigenous people are on common agreement adding, everything is in order.

Kwahu East District is currently operating from Abetifi Community Center since 2008 when the assembly was established.

In an exclusive interview the DCE for the area Hon Isaac Agyapong revealed the two (2) story assembly block will comprise thirty (30) offices located in Abetifi.

According to him, a contract has already been awarded, drawings are intact and the assembly will cut sod by January ending or early February for work to commence.

As part of government’s plans to create employment through one district one factory in each district across the country, Kwahu East District has begun plans to make the implementation possible.

Hon Isaac Agyapong added Kwahu East will host an investment forum on 15th January to outline some investment potentials to prospective investors as part of championing government’s initiative of 1d1f.

The District Chief Executive for Afram Plains North Hon Samuel Kena also said, his assembly is ready to implement all government policies including three key projects which are yet to be discussed with the general body of the assembly adding, he is confident the district will focus on education, roads and health.
