Music: EIB’s Asonaba releases new track to support fight against “Galamsey”


Asonaba Kwadwo Nomafo Duku, a refined broadcast journalist of Agoo FM, a subsidiary of Excellence In Broadcasting Network (EIB) has released a new exhilarating hit song to support government’s call against “Galamsey”, in support of efforts by Media Coalition Against Galamsey and all stakeholders/citizens of the nation advocating against illegal mining popularly known as “Galamsey”.

The song titled “Galamsey” according to him will help encourage youth and business institutions that are engaging in such activities to desist from the process.

Speaking in an interview with Agoo News on Wednesday May 24th just after releasing the track, Asonaba opined call by the government to put drastic but meticulous measures in place to streamline the prohibited operations is a good call, a move he believes his track will add enormous value to.

According to him, he is a native of Wenkyi in Akim of the Eastern Region but the illegal mining has affected almost every soil of theirs, polluting water bodies and food crops.

He pledged that all must endeavor to uproot the nuisance, “Galamsey” by rallying behind Government; Media Coalition Against Galamsey led by Ken Ashibey, Managing Director of Graphic Communications Group and other professional advocates.
