FODOA Community Day Senior High School Ready TO Be Commissioned – Project Manager


Project manager for one of the community day Senior High Schools at Fodoa in the Kwahu West Municipality has confirmed to Agoo news the building is ready for commissioning and commencement of operation.  According to Mr Gilbert Alormene the project is almost completed and that makes it ready for commissioning.

‘’As you can see yourself I can say it’s about 98% completed. It has 24 classrooms, two libraries, four laboratories, computer rooms and offices so it is a well packaged school for the beginning.’’ He said.


In September 2014, the Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu west municipality Hon Dr. Alex Obeng Somuah together with the District Chief Executive for Kwahu East district Hon Nana Antwi and some other executives cut sod forthe project to begin.The late Prof Nana Agyakwa Frimpong III, then Fodoa chief expressed much satisfaction to the government for such a project to be established on his land.

Nananom poured libation, prayed to the almighty God and the gods of the land to deal with every impediment during the period. However the president was expected to commission the school today but for unknown reasons, the exercise has been postponed to Wednesday a statement issued by the NDC eastern regional Communication director Baba Jamal Konneh said.

Agoo news can confirm that the school is ready for commissioning as confirmed by the project manager.Moreover, the news team visited the Fodoa palace and met the Gyaasehene Nana Kofi Tenkorang who expressed much satisfaction to the government.
