Gridco Reserves Power for Kwahu Easter


The Ghana Grid company (GRIDco) has assured that their outfit has reserved power for Kwahu Easter which will help the region experience full supply of power especially during Kwahu Easter festivities in the eastern region this week.

Kwahu over the years has become the talk of Easter celebration in Ghana increasing the area population to over thousands every year as business activities boomed resulting in increase power consumption and this year’s Easter is not an exception. Ghana has battled for a sustainable power supply over the years.

Speaking to Agoo fm this morning on Ene Nso Biem With Eugene Akoto Bamfo, The Head Of Maintenance At GRIDCO In The Ashanti Region And Nkawkaw, Mr. Peter Acquah said the company has reserved power for Kwahu and its environs whilst other maintenance have been done to prevent other break ups that causes power cut which has been christened “Dumsor”

“About 200 megawatt of power has been added to the power supply so there is no need for revelers and businesses who are coming to Kwahu to be afraid of power cuts since all maintenances have been done” Mr Aquah added.
